Tessa von Wilson is a sweet and elegant 8 month old Shepherd/Afgan mix.

Per her foster mom:
She loves to play with non-aggressive dogs--small, big, doesn't matter. She's good with cats--she trots after them because she's desperate to play.  She worships our chihuahua mix but he wants nothing to do with her. Tessa is easy to walk, just needs reminding to not pull, loves car rides and her toys. No prey drive, just play drive.  Likes most people but sometimes takes a little while to warm up.  Is great with kids.  No small ones though because she has a long body that tends to swing around.  No food aggression or acting territorial about her beds or toys.  She is "crated" every night in our breakfast nook and is rock solid housebroken.  Also, several dog-savvy people (vet included) have all commented that she looks part Afghan. She would love to have a doggie buddy to play with in her new home.
